Jess Gardner

Visit Website | Hello Adorn

Jess and her husband, Adam, both had long careers in the demanding world of corporate finance and insurance, where dreams are meant to be big.  Big business. Big companies. Big responsibilities.  But where they really found happiness was traveling and spending time together with their children and families.

With Jess having recently lost both of her parents there was a heavy realization that there's no guarantee for tomorrow and these moments that we love are precious. The “big” dreams that Jess accomplished were not allowing her the time to enjoy the things that really made her happy.  That’s when she decided on a small dream-a small business that would allow her the opportunity to create happiness.

Jess makes beautiful jewelry that makes her just as happy as it makes the people who receive it.  She let go of her big dreams for a small dream that would create an opportunity to enjoy her life the way she wants to.  Together with her family and truly happy.  She is still dreaming big, just in a smaller way.

Sarah Godlewski

Visit Website | Wisconsin's State Treasurer

Sarah Godlewski, Wisconsin’s thirty-sixth State Treasurer, took office January 7th and serves as the state’s chief financial officer. Treasurer Godlewski’s bold vision for her office is to foster financial security and sustainability for all Wisconsinites while protecting our tax dollars -- tackling issues such as retirement and college affordability.

Prior to taking office, she was the co-founder of a multi-million dollar socially responsible investment firm called MaSa Partners and was also a founding member of WE Capital which provides reasonable financing to empower female entrepreneurs. Her work has been nationally recognized for achieving positive impact without sacrificing sound financial returns.

Beyond investing, Treasurer Godlewski worked at the Pentagon for almost a decade where she helped save taxpayers tens of millions of dollars and created a performance-based budgeting process for local government. The Treasurer started her financial career supporting microfinance initiatives in rural India where she saw firsthand how micro-lending positively transformed entire communities. She is a big proponent of financial literacy and supported such initiatives as a professor at George Mason University.

Most notably, Treasurer Godlewski was the leader of the bipartisan campaign to save the Wisconsin’s State Treasurer’s Office. Voters across the state voted in support of the Treasurer’s office with a resounding 62% of the vote. Their voice was heard and Treasurer Godlewski is working to meet their mandate every day.

Sarah Godlewski is a proud fifth generation Wisconsinite and Green Bay Packer fan. She lives with her husband Max and their rescue dog, Tanner.
