Pre-Conference Networking

New this year, the United Eau Claire Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) will be hosting a casual networking event for attendees, exhibitors and sponsors at 6 pm at the Plaza Hotel the evening before the conference. Reserve a room at an area hotel and come early to enjoy extended networking opportunities.

Exhibitor Space Available

We currently have 40 local businesses signed up for the exhibitor hall but there is still plenty of room still available. The price of an exhibitor booth is $89. 

Included in the exhibitor booth price is:

  • (1) Women’s Business Conference Admission (including 1 boxed lunch)
  • Option to provide (1) Door Prize Item to give away (minimum value $25)

Registration Open!

Registration is now open for the 2010 Women’s Business Conference! Register by April 5th and pay only $39 for a full day of networking opportunities with educational sessions, roundtable discussions, two keynote addresses, one-on-one business counseling and a networking lunch. Our Keynote Address Speaker is Rep. Kristen Dexter

Kristen Dexter is the representative for the 68th Assembly District for the State of Wisconsin.

Kristen Dexter was born and raised in Hallock, Minnesota, on the farm where her dad and grandfather were born and where her parents still live.

Kristen finished her college career in River Falls, graduating as an Art major from UW-River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts. After graduation Kristen moved to Minneapolis and began a small business as a metalsmith.

Kristen and her husband David married in 1992 and have three children. David graduated from Mayo Medical School and is now the chair of a hospital neurology department in Eau Claire. Read more »
